To start your Matched Betting journey you need the following;

Betting Bank

To be able to work through the guides you need a “Betting Bank” to work with to place the bets required.  You can start with as little as £50 but if possible we recommend £200+ as this will enable you to work through the offers more quickly and not having to wait around too much for withdrawals to be received before moving on to the next offer while also enabling you to increase your profits at the start.

We also recommend a separate bank account for your Matched Betting activities to make it easier to keep track of your transactions.

Computer with Internet Connection

All of our guides relate to online bookmaker offers and promotions so with a computer/laptop or tablet along with internet connection you would not be able to complete.  The computer does not need to be anything fancy or expensive , just need to be able to browse the internet so you can sign up to the bookmakers.  As you are reading this, you must have this covered so no need to make any extra purchases 😀

Email

When you sign up to the bookmakers you will need to enter your email address.  We strongly advise setting up a new email exclusively for matched betting.  This will help keep everything in one place and easy to see any offers or promotions that you will get sent when you have registered.

ID Documents

Bookmakers are increasingly requesting documents for new members to verify their identity.  This is nothing to worry about and you should be expecting to do so at some point with most bookmakers.  These can be documents containing a photo ID such as a Passport and also documents confirming your address such as a utility bill in your name and address.

Time & Willingness to Learn

Along with the above requirements you will also need to be able to dedicate some time, especially at the start so you can fully understand the process required.  We understand this may be a little daunting at first but we have been in your shoes when we started and are here to help wherever possible.
